My husband and I have just started teaching the college and career class at our church. Our daughter is in this class and that is part of the reason we chose to teach the class. We know all the kids but have never taught a class before. Any pointers as to how to really get started. The class is very small only 3-5 students each sunday. I would appreciate any ideas you may have.

I am a Pastor’s wife ministering to a group we call “TNT” (twenties&thirties) – however – since the adult session is usually in our native tongue which is Samoan, those who seek out a English speaking session end up with the “TNT” group and are over thirty. I see the need to minster to everyone, but don’t want the “TNT” group to lose interest and eventually stop coming…I have asked one of the “TNT” guys to teach that group come 2012. We will work with him so that he feels confident taking that role on – then – I can minister to the others who are older, but need the English teaching. For the “TNT” group, we usually have a “off-site” session to break up the scenery and I appoint one of their peers to share a brief devo and encourage good fellowship while we grab a bite to eat somewhere. Your input of fresh ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help
