Packing Stinks

Chuck on March 29th, 2008

Well, I spent all day packing.  As many of you know we are moving up to Portland (from So. California) to plant a church.  It never ceases to amaze me how much stuff can be accumulated…and we are far from pack-rats!  I love to throw away stuff.  My thought is, “if you haven’t used it in the last year, throw it away!”  Of course we kept some pictures (funny ones too – I wasn’t the best looking kid!) and some yearbooks.

Wait, that statement about my looks insinuated that I now am good looking…an egocentric and narcissistic statement at least.  Whatever.

Bottom line is moving stinks and I’m tired!  I will spend tomorrow at church, pack some more, then back to the grind on Monday.  Whoa.

Oh, by the way, packing up your things really stinks.

I have to agree packing is a drag.

True…packing stinks.

But, it the only way to get to the place where God is leading you. And the place where a bunch of folks are getting ready to serve the Lord through this new body of believers.

Persevere my friend!
